    The article discusses the results of a retrospective analysis of medical records of patients with lethal outcome of community-acquired pneumonia, who have been hospitalized in hospitals of Kazan throughout the year. There was carried out an analysis of laboratory and instrumental studies. Were highlighted markers with significant changes. Therefore, we can rationally minimize diagnostic complex in patients with severe pneumonia which will optimize the total cost of treatment along with timely correction of therapeutic approaches.
