The clinical and epidemiological investigation of multiple sclerosis in the city of Ufa, conducted in 2010-2016, showed an increase of the disease incidence from 34.5 to 46.5 per 100 000 people and decreasing levels of mortality and primary disability. The main epidemiological characteristics of the MS in Ufa are comparable with similar indicators in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the observed changes reflect global trends.
