Chronic endometritis remains the main cause of impaired female reproductive health: infertility, miscarriage, failures in the use of assisted reproductive technologies.
The purpose of the review is to analyze the literature data on the treatment of chronic endometritis over the past five years using the main electronic search engines. Different points of view are presented with regard to antibacterial and alternative treatment issues, emphasis has been placed on the possibilities of epigenetic therapy in hypermethylation of the HOXA10 and HOXA1 genes, as well as modern aspects of physiotherapy.
Conclusion. The issues of optimal treatment of chronic endometritis in women are not fully resolved. The proposed numerous methods do not allow to achieve the restoration of reproductive function in the absolute majority of women. Additional studies and analysis of their results are required to develop the most effective approaches to the treatment of the disease.
Key words: chronic endometritis, endometrium, epigenetic therapy.
