The paper explores the changes in eye and orbit vessels in patients with normal pressure glaucoma. The data showed that under normal pressure glaucoma the main changes are located in the posterior short ciliary arteries and are detected at the early stages of the disease. In addition, the differences in the hemodynamic parameters of the eye under normal pressure glaucoma were registered, compared with primary and secondary nonglaucomatous optic nerve atrophy.
Key words: normal pressure glaucoma, optic nerve atrophy, hemodynamics.
