The article presents the results of assessing the adaptive capabilities of the cardiovascular system in children with acute infectious diseases occurring with tonsillitis syndrome.

Material and methods. A prospective comparative study was conducted. 100 children aged 3 to 7 years who received treatment for acute infectious diseases accompanied by tonsillitis syndrome were under the supervision. Based on mathematical modeling, integral indicators characterizing changes in the cardiovascular during adaptation are revealed.

Results. On the part of the cardiovascular component, such indicators as extrasystole (Pi-316.1) and repolarization processes (Pi-123.5) had high coefficients of influence in infectious diseases of bacterial etiology; in case of a viral infection, in addition to ventricular extrasystole (Pi-128.9), atrial conduction (Pi-120.4) and tachycardia after a period of fever (Pi-102.1); in mixed infections, repolarization processes (Pi-89.3) and tachycardia after a fever period (Pi-50.0) had high coefficients of influence.

Conclusion. The results obtained made it possible to identify a risk group for disrupting adaptive reactions of the cardiovascular system and to propose an algorithm for monitoring this category of children.

Key words: acute infectious diseases, tonsillitis, adaptation, cardiovascular system, children, ECG.
