This article analyzes anti-glaucoma operations performed in the Cheboksary branch of the S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution from 2013 to 2017. During this period, 8878 anti-glaucoma operations were performed, of which 4536 were laser and 4342 surgical. A large percentage of patients were at the stage of long-term (42.42 %) and terminal (5,86%) glaucoma, which indicates a late referral of patients to surgery. However, there is an increase in the number of laser antiglaucoma operations, indicating the introduction of modern methods of treatment of glaucoma, primarily at the early stages.
Key words: glaucoma, glaucoma surgery.
