The analysis of clinical and functional results of sub-Bowman’s femtokeratomileusis (SBFK) with tissue-saving ablation (TSA) and standard ablation (SA) is carried out. In the group of forty two patients there were studied forty two eyes with middle sphere-equivalent (SE) -8,67±2,42 diopters, in the group with standard ablation (SA) ― 28 eyes (28 patients) with SE — 7.73±1,34 diopters. The algorithm for the selection of patients, which increases the efficiency of keratorefractive operations and provides high predictability of clinical and functional results is developed.
Key words: sub-Bowman’s femtokeratomileusis (SBFK), tissue-saving ablation, high myopia.
